Sparkling Sangria Tea Spritz

Ingredients

Ingredients (Pitcher):

  • 1 bottle of Prosecco

  • 5 teaspoons Tea Market Sangria blend

  • 20 oz. boiling water (212°F)

  • 23 oz. cold water or ice

Preparation

To Make a Pitcher:

  1. Add Sangria tea to your favorite infuser.

  2. Pour in 20 ounces of boiling (212°) water.

  3. Steep for 4 minutes, then remove the infuser.

  4. Stir in 23 ounces of cold water or ice to chill.

  5. Add the bottle of Prosecco and give it a gentle stir.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the sparkle!


To Make by the Glass:

  1. Brew a strong concentrate by steeping 1 teaspoon of Sangria in 4 ounces of boiling water for 4 minutes.

  2. Fill a wine glass halfway with ice and pour in the tea concentrate.

  3. Top with equal parts cold water and Prosecco (about 2 oz. each).

  4. Give it a quick stir and garnish with fresh fruit if desired.


Tip: For a fruitier twist, add a few slices of orange, peach, or berries before serving.
